Hubby was laid off twice at the start of his career.

Turned out to be for very short periods.

He looked for work, got called back before he found it the first time.

Took a different job before he got called back the last time, and that leap of faith of he made started him on his way to a job he loved until he reluctantly retired.

But both times he was laid off he kept making his student loan payments.

And he paid his loan off in its entirety though it took quite a few years.

I have neither sympathy nor empathy for people who think they are entitled to have someone else pay off their loans.

You and I are 100% in agreement.

It really steams me to hear these people whine about unfair loans. They were old enough when they signed on the dotted line. They entered into a contract.

Boy. Just writing this is making my blood pressure go up!
