What I was going to say. Yup, they say this every year. Then of course if/when they get it right, the media will blame “climate change” and Trump.
Our local “meteorologists” can’t accurately predict this weekends weather!
I’m a native of SE Texas since 1970, and other than my military years have lived here or in central Florida.
The government predicts lots of hurricanes and damage every year, so that when it does eventually happen, they can scream “SEE!!! We told you so!”, and the insurance companies (with whom they’ve all invested heavily) can raise our rates.
