I began listening to this while I was having my breakfast, and I think so far the most interesting thing I’ve heard is how the privileged conversation between Cohen and Costello came to appear in testimony.
It sounded like The FBI was trying to get to Giuliani, and they used Cohen as a willing stooge to engage Giuliani‘s law firm where Costello works, and then Cohen (as was likely prearranged) signed a waiver of the attorney client privilege…
Which backfired in spectacular fashion because of some of the things that came out, which Cohen probably did not intend.
I think I have that right…
And that they wanted Giuliani to turn on Trump to get a plea bargin.
