I hope so, but it is possible for groups of people to recognize dangers so late that they are now incapable of putting up effective resistance. We are in that “grey area” where the next few years will make it clear whether The Classic “West” is salvageable or whether we’re on the inexorable road to its disintegration (and eventual replacement).

I agree. We may lose our civilization and have to spend the next century trying to extricate ourselves from some strange mixture/hybrid of Sharia/Marxist rule.

BTW, I think the Marxists and Muslims will eventually turn on each other as each side fights for dominance.
