I looked on Amazon. Saw a lot of Matchas.
Any particular brand?
I like word of mouth for trying new things.

Thanks in advance

I was fortunate to find lots of inexpensive matcha at our Black Friday store. It sells Amazon returns/close outs/expired items for $8 on Friday decreasing daily to 50 cents on Wednesday. I bought good sized bags for a buck or two. I also picked up a bag at Costco, but it was $15 and it’s still in the fridge.

I don’t like the taste of matcha, so originally I added 2g of turmeric, .5g each of Ceylon cinnamon and ginger, 3g of cacoa powder, and 1g of maca powder (also from Black Friday). I mixed up a bunch up so I don’t have to mix it every day. I do have 0.1 gram scale.

Since January I’ve been doing intermittent fasting so I only use 20% (1.4g) of the mix along with 2g matcha. I’ve also added in 4g of an 11 supplement mix I created that includes 1g of glycine which has a natural sweetness and further masks the matcha taste.

I shake this altogether in a glass bottle. I also just use room temperature water.

Matcha is really healthy. It has lots of nutrients, more EGCG than green tea, other nutrients, and is easier to consume. There are different grades of matcha, with ceremonial grade being the most expensive, and probably best tasting.

I have been drinking Matcha green tea for more than 5 years. Almost daily. I get this brand and brew sun tea by the half gallon.
