LOL, they repeatedly talk of pregnant people. They are afraid of offending a woman who identifies as a man, who could be pregnant. They want to avoid any assumptions that a pregnant person is a woman.
Well, we live in a world in which even the Brilliant Minds of Supreme Court Justices don’t know what a woman is. So perhaps not a stretch, to want to show that they are not making assumptions that someone who is pregnant is also female.
That only applies to one of them, and she was lying.
