Well stated. Calling myself a “Constitutionalist” is closer to the mark. But out loud all it usually just gets is vacant stares.
What does a true "constitutionalist" espouse? That the accurate use of the Constitution is applying the Constitution as written and originally understood and intended.
I joined the LP for small government and the constitution. I left because of abortion and open borders.
