Libertarian is just a conservative bereft of any common sense.
Now that weed is legal practically everywhere, I think most Libertarians have been absorbed into the Republican Party. Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are philosophically "small L" libertarians.
These days, it seems the bulk of the Libertarian platform centers around legalizing prostitution and repealing age of consent laws.
