Yes, I was there that year. Ran out of time, ended up listening to the race while driving home. The Brickyard Museum was nice.
I’ve never been to a race at IMS but yes indeed took the tour and yes the museum is great. Seeing the place in real life was to me jaw dropping. Yeah the 500 is on my bucket list even though it’s a shadow of its former self.
