So you take an extreme hypothetical argument and argue it as a norm. Rational. Quite impressed with your logic.That's called reductio ad absurdum (reduction to absurdity) in debating and in courtrooms. It's a logical fallacy used by poor debaters, shifty lawyers, and cheats.
