This seems an insane verdict, at least put her in an asylum for some number of years.
On the subject of psychosis from MJ, I can relate.
I smoked MJ from about 1972 to 76 when I had my first Daughter. It wasn’t all that, I was not that into it.
In 2016 I was diagnosed with Cancer, and someone talked me into using distilled MJ into Rick Simpson oil for treatment. I took one piece of this oily thing about the size of a grain of rice. In 3 hours or so, I was so messed up that I could see the words I spoke. I barely could make it up stairs, as I staggered. I lay down and had dry heaves. I had a psychotic break.
My wife who is a pot head for always, took the same thing the next day, said it was “nice”.
It scared the sheet out of me. Tucker Carlson talks about this, and people scoff. Well I can tell you, it was what people say happens during LSD trips or something for me.
A friend of mine in his 60’s took a trip to Colorado with his wife a while back. They bought a joint and took it back home in another state. Both had been casual pot smokers back in the 80’s. They shared one joint and couldn’t get off the couch to go to their room. He told me that the stuff out there now is way more powerful than what was available 40 years ago.
Thanks for sharing that story. I saw the same thing with a neighbor teen. I used to throw the baseball back and forth with him, and he was nice normal kid. And then he enrolled in ritzy private high school in SF and fell in with a stoner group. Weed transformed him from normal to someone who had paranoid fantasies that messages were being beamed into his brain and that he could speak to people telepathically. It was very sad. But it’s also tragic that all of this is ignored as the left (and a few of their allies on the right) want to laugh all this off in their relentless quest to promote this drug.
