Is it just your default position that every time someone makes a mistake they are a DEI hire without actually looking? Because if you look you can easily see that Det Gillis is a white guy.

No, he’s a detective who was on a traffic detail (probably on overtime) during the busiest week ever for that locality. I guarantee you no cop in that department was granted a day off during the PGA Championship. They were all working for the tournament. Regardless, he’s a white guy. Not DEI. You are welcome to your opinion, but the facts have to be correct.
