When they were going bankrupt just before Christmas he was one of the last employees to be let go.

Only had food poisoning a few times in my life, two of them were from Taco Bell.
The artist seems to have a sense of humor about the whole thing. Naturally he isn’t making a dime of profit on the craze - in order to make money at art you have to die first - but a couple of those pieces do look pretty amusing.
