I don’t know what delta7 thinks, but I can tell you clean Unc Morgans were fetching $50 a piece on that famous auction site when spot was $20. No special numismatic value (rare dates or mintmarks) but, Morgans in general are collectable due to their age, and condition.
I wouldn’t bother with anything actually Numismatic unless it’s a hobby. Way too much “blue sky”.
Best to spread silver out, bullion,1 ounce, 10 ounce generic, secondary market coinage, US Eagles, junk silver,….but put away Morgan and Peace dollars, there is a finite supply- your kids will appreciate it.
About circulated Morgan’s, as opposed to AU/BU , or graded NGC/ PCGS encased- …..I can remember when the famous GSA CC Morgans were released, 80$ ….today the graded Carson City GSA Morgan’s averaging $300 and into the thousands, depending on grade ( MS 63, 64, etc) and year.
