Flown through MIA many times. Coming or going to central/south america gets you both customs and TSA. Its a ghetto sh*thole. Glad I retired this year and will never have to put up with that nonsense again ever!
I flew out of Tampa a bunch of years ago. I got singled out for the TSA treatment. When I was escorted to the staging area, the agents asked me where my stuff was. I said it was was 4 lanes over there. They let me go and fortunately my stuff was still there...
Rumor has it that Scheffler’s charges will be dropped. On a side note, mind the cops orders. I was at the Indy 500 some years ago and a cop bashed the hood of vehicle owner who didn’t obey his instructions. He didn’t get arrested, but likely had a $2K repair bill for the big dent..
