Russia may end up occupying a substantial slice of Ukraine but it will have little economic benefit to Russia because, even now, she lacks the people and technical resources needed for proper development of her economic potential.

That is beyond an ignorant contention.

Russia has, probably, as advance a military and space program as exists in the world. It's either us or them.

Unquestionably, Russia's manufacturing capacity is greater than the entire West combined as proven by Russia's 10-1 advantage in ammo and missiles in the war in Ukraine.

Russia's natural resources are unmatched.

A hatred that blinds one to reality is one that is dangerous.

Russia lacks a reusable booster and has little prospect of putting one into service anytime soon. For external customers, that makes Russian launches absurdly more expensive than what Space-X offers. As a result, Russian space launches are a minor component of the international launch business.

Moreover, Russia does not even rate in the top ten of manufacturing countries. As compiled by Safeguard Global from publicly available data, here is a list of the top ten manufacturing countries by per cent:

China – 28.4%

United States – 16.6%

Japan – 7.5%

Germany – 5.8%

India – 3.3%

South Korea – 3%

Italy – 2.3%

France – 1.9%

United Kingdom – 1.8%

Indonesia – 1.4%

Russia's total manufacturing is less than even Indonesia.

>i>...Russia's manufacturing capacity is greater than the entire West combined.....

LOL! So how come they've never made a decent car, refrigerator, cellphone or TV set? How come they're using American-sourced computer components in their missiles? Not too long ago they were buying American pumps and valves for their oil wells. They're good at making big military jet engines....have to be, because their airframes are all overweight. How come they're buying drones from IRAN? And begging artillery ammo from North Korea? Hmmmm?
