I’m actually fine with this. If you want to walk out, walk out. If you want to walk out chanting, go ahead do that too. Then just GTFO and the rest of us can continue with the event.

I can’t remember if I ever have walked out of anything. I do remember seeing Mel Brooks History of the World Part 1 and HATING it. (Love Mel, but that one was not good!) I was there with 2 other people and none of us were enjoying it. But when we finally did decide to leave, it was over! So we saw the whole thing.

Another picture I hated was “oh Lucky Man” I think it has Malcolm McDowell as the lead. Would have walked out of that for sure, but I was on a date! Think that is really a guy’s movie. There is a band in it that plays some songs as interludes. I’m sorry I can’t remember their name, they were the best thing in the movie.

History of the World Pt 1 was hit and miss. Without the stabilizing force of Gene Wilder Mel goes off the deep end and runs your nose in the jokes after you’ve already laughed.

Mel Brooks, history of the world part one,

That was the only movie I have ever requested my money back on. My request was not honored. My companions thought the movie was funny. I thought it was Offensive dreck.

I made a gesture to my family at a Mass when the substitute priest told us that God didn’t care about the 6th Commandment (adultery). We all filed out together and went to the 5PM inPhenix City.

my girlfriend and I alsowalked out of “The Fugutive” when we heard one profanity too many.

I can’t remember if I ever have walked out of anything.

In 1982 I had just relocated to Greensboro, NC. I saw that the local state-run gay college was producing an opera that they called La Traviata.

I knew the work and bought a ticket.

As the curtain rose, I heard the familiar strain of the overture. At the opening of Act One, I heard an unfamiliar warble.

Turned out, they were singing it in English.

I returned to the box office and asked the commie working there if the Opera was La Traviata it whether it was The Traveler.

The little shit said it was an English production because the singers couldn’t pronounce the Italian language. He refuse my request for a refund due to false advertising.

I walked out.
