Giving any such position to anyone just because they are female is beyond NUTS.

Same for any male, or any person of any ethnic origin. The. p, like the POTUS and every other job, should be filled by the most qualified person, period. In the case of the VP, it has to be someone who can step into those shoes on a moment’s notice and do a very good job.
