Heh. Thought the same thing
Genetics do play a role in how strong your immune system and organs are, but fundamentally, most disease is because of a lack of proper nutrition.
that’s some really rotten hay in the picture: hay like that will kill a horse ...
$75 dollar life savings?
Ok...for someone who has reason to believe that the end is near for him/her I don’t have a problem with them saying “bleep it,I’m just gonna spend my time checking off things on my bucket list”.
“dropped out of his Ph.D. program. Lee took his life savings of $75”
...wonder what his PH.D was in? He must’ve dropped out because he knew it wouldn’t increase his “life savings of $75”.
Apparently he ate all his other horses... 50 foot horse team down to one.
In some regards, what you are eating has less effect on your health than what’s eating YOU!
The horses in the picture look to be in great shape. Horses need jobs and sitting in a pasture eating grass all day is not a job. Good for him, he’s doing what he wants to do. He’s living a better life than most.
He’s running from Big Pharma
It appears he eats well.
Sort of a modern day Don Quixote, with his faithful horse Rocinate. It’s kind of sad that he has no social roots anywhere in particular, and I question him walking that horse on hot asphalt here and there, but I admire his sense of adventure. Just stay far away from the crowded urban areas as much as possible. Some group of feral “teens” would take him down like a pack of hyenas felling an antelope.
True story: about 10 years ago on a business/film trip from Dayton, OH to Nashville my friend and I saw on a side road to the freeway a former hotel converted into an “Adult book store” and (obviously) pleasure palace.
Going down the road in its direction was an Amish buggy.
Follow-up: There was a GIANT metal cross a short distance from there. When we came back, after a storm, the cross had fallen and it’s beam went right into the aforesaid pleasure palace.
Many folks get chemo, get sick from it after their rounds of chemo are al out done, then “decide to go the natural route” and viola, the tumor slowly dissappears- yeah, tha KS to the rounds of chemo kicking in and murdering the tumor finally.
Hard to say that “the chemo failed while natural herbs killed the tumor”. It very well could be that the chemo did what it was supposed to do, and thankfully the person didn’t give up on the chemo sooner. I’ve known a few people who decided to stop chemo and radiation after a few rounds and “go the natural route” who died. Did their stopping the chemo cause their death? Or was the cancer just a deadly cancer that kills no matter what? Did the natural route have no effect? Hard to tell.
Anyways, glad he went out and lived while he can
Stupid Curiosity on Steroids.
More power to him.
How exciting!
