My daughter bought a three year old Toyota Tacoma pickup, 4WD, manual transmission. No one EVER asks to borrow HER truck. It’s a great vehicle when she goes camping back country.

I learned to drive a manual in a 1972 Pinto. I haven’t owned an automatic since 1979. My current vehicles are a 2005 Mustang and a 2008 Ranger, both manual. I’m keeping them.
