In one generation the Swiss Army Scimitar will be released and then the infidel sodomites that released the bladeless will feel the akbar of allah.

What’s next. Leatherman pliers without jaws?
I guess if it’s a pocket tool you could bring on an airplane I might be interested, but probably not.

I have one (with the blades) which I use frequently. I have as much use for a Swiss Army whatever as I do for decaffeinated coffee or non-alcoholic beer.

The UK is now like living in a prison, where no knives are allowed.

What an idea! Soon we’ll have guns without bullet chambers and trigger mechanisms!
And the right to bear arms will be saved!

I’d get one just to challenge, piss off, and win against the TSA “agents”...Don't waste your money. I had a very tiny allen wrench in the coin pocket of my jeans. It had been there for months after adjusting the sights on my rifle. A small one that only comes in a full set. The TSA metal detector spotted it. I fished it out of my pocket. The bonehead TSA inspector said he had to confiscate it. It's a tool. I looked him in the eye and said, "you're a tool". I had to spend $10 to buy another full set to replace the confiscated item. Again, the TSA isn't playing with a full deck. They will confiscate your nice new bladeless tool. Expect to see it on E-Bay later.

It’s staggering how much TPTB want the general populace unarmed and unable to defend themselves.
Besides, knives are not used just for stabbing someone. How many people carry a pocket knife with that intent as opposed to its general usefulness as an all around handy tool to have.

I used to fly about three times a month. I remember when I used to go through airport security with a knife every time. Then 9/11 and I almost had my serrated edge knife confiscated due to serrated edge, but they relented and let me fly with it the last time. I gave that knife to a friend and got the same model knife with a plain edge. That worked for a while and then all knives were banned. Then I started carrying an Uzi tactical pen. Never got denied for that.

Were the TSA guys also al Qaeda or something? I think the old rule allowed knives with blades shorter than 3" or maybe 3.5". The rule banning serrated blades happened in the middle of my trip and the air port screeners were used to only screening for guns and explosives...they were confused too...and I was a frequent flier with multi 100k miles so they let me go. A plain edge would still have been OK.

Are they made by Victorinox Swiss or some Chinese knockoff?
I have a nice Mauser knife made by Victorinox.
