Warner Bros. has made it official: It will be returning to Middle-earth.
On Warner Bros. Discovery’s first-quarter earnings conference call on Thursday, CEO David Zaslav said that the company is “now in the early stages of script development” for new Lord of the Rings movies, which he says they “anticipate releasing in 2026” and will “explore storylines yet to be told.”
The first film, from New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures, will be called Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum (working title), with Andy Serkis set to star and direct the feature,

I posit it will go the same way as the “new, improved” Snow White feature (that has never been released) - with a cast of “diverse” characters including trannies.
I’ll continue to enjoy Tolkien’s hardback books I have from the 60s.

I was so looking forward to the Snow White release date, which I believe was March 15. It was going to crack and burn in spectacular fashion. New release date is a year from now with the 7 woke “dwarves” replaced by cgi
I barely made it through the second film and didn't even bother watching the third one in the theater. I couldn't believe what a horrible job Jackson did.
The first one was the last movie I saw in the theater. Fun films. Hopefully Jackson, who has a flair for “ bad taste” says no to the woke mob.
Okay, I’m probably the last geek on Earth to learn this, but Bagshot is an actual village in England. As everyone is no doubt aware, Bilbo’s Bag End was the last Hobbit-hole in Bagshot Row.
