You could not pay me to watch the NFL.
When it costs anything at all.
Whoever pays $ 76,447.00 or even a quarter of this should be inducted in to the hall of fame of stupidity. I wouldn’t even consider paying $ 100. But there is no shortage of nut jobs.
Or you could say F*** the NFL like many of us did after Kaepernick’s stunt and the NFL did nothing but kiss his ars and put stupid “End Racism” signs in all the end zones.
They have it backwards. They’d have to pay me to watch.
HD antenna gets local channels free. NFL mostly on one of those.
If you live in an area with a team, like me in TN, that team is on aired TV in that area.
Four years ago, when bending the knee became more important than winning.
The day that anyone took a knee during the National Anthem was the last day I paid attention to the NFL.
At the point where they disrespect the anthem/flag
It’s not that important. I heard to other day that the various rights for the next NFL contract will be north of $100 Billion.
NBA is renewing TV and uses several platforms and they going to get about $75 Billion and they do not draw the viewers to justify that.
Then we have the lowly WNBA, current contract worth about $60 Million and they want a raise also to maybe $100 Million except the only person drawing a crowd is Caitlyn Clark.
I lost total interest in watching about 10 years ago. I had to be reminded this year the Super Bowl was on. It was past halftime this year befire I even realized it.
We stopped watching the NFL years ago.
At one cent it is too much for me.
I remember one story where a Pittsburgher and his friends watched the FRanco Harris Immaculate Reception game in December of 1972 on an old late 1940’s era TV with rabbit ears because the local stations in Pittsburgh were blacked out since not all seats in Three River’s Stadium were not sold out. They were trying to pull in WJAC from Johnstown, PA on channel 6 since it was out of the blackout zone to watch the game.
I’ve been to exactly one NFL game, in 1979. After the game we had access to Tom Landry’s office where I got my photo taken with a Superbowl trophy.
I do think that is a suite with 26 seats. Expensive but not a single seat and it is a private suite.
Not a problem - I have no TV.
And, who is this Taylor Swift chap?
Paramont+ is also getting exclusive games.
