I bet the creator was including the Italo-Ethiopian 2nd war which I think had close to 1/4 million deaths (civ and military). It ended in ‘37 which is when many think the war actually began (China).
Months ago, I’d seen a similar presentation at YouTube, except that gravestones were used for the visuals.
The numbers may have been different, too.
