What’s to dispute? This type of action has been used for many years. Look at the Alamo. People like Davy Crocket came from Tennessee, and even though Jim Bowie was a Mexican citizen living in Texas at the time of the Alamo, he originally came from Louisiana after Kentucky.

Mercenaries are many times very organized as there are companies that control them. It’s almost like a union.
