Also, the NATO troops that are in Ukraine have been reported to be more open. At first they were all described as men who had formally discharged from their respective services and then signed up with Ukraine as mercenaries. Now, however, more of them are wearing national insignia. Perhaps they know that if they get caught they can be taken as prisoners rather than shot.
