I was floored to hear that McConnell has chewed against President Melei, sounding like a true blue anti-Conservative Leftie. Feigning alarm about Melei in talks with China and Russia, as if he doesn’t Know that he and BideNod have together driven countries into the arms of Russia and China.
Melei has not yet actually ruled out BRIX. He remains on the paper oil-Dollar for now and is doubtless waiting on POTUS Trump to approach the question of currency. POTUS Trump has no objection to crypto, which may signal a willingness for a clear eyed assessment of the Dollar.
Trump has never sneered at gold backed currency, after all, and is surely aware that already Russia is reportedly trading 90%, already, in its own currency and not the dollar. Some say they are closing in on out producing the entire West.
We are getting no reporting in North America of how much damage our arrogance has cost us in disdain, for many nations abroad.
Margaret Brennan and McConnell want nothing to change with the playbook, as we enter another cycle of war to boost our economy.
Vance was spot on.
When Trump is in office again look for the dollar to be backed with gold, lots of it.
