How many churches do you see these days which still have a midweek prayer meeting?

The absence of these and the deterioration of this culture are tied together but which caused which, I’m not sure. But I know one thing, without prayer, we are doomed.

You know, there is a part of me that would love to be able to proclaim to the USA, as Jonah dad, "Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown." My anger for what our politicians have done to it is that strong.

Yet I also know there are going to be millions of people who are going to caught unaware when such judgment does strike this nation. So there is that part of me that is sad and will mourn as well.

So it's a good thing we have a merciful God, because if it were left up to me, my carnal side, (as I'm sure Jonah felt as well), I wouldn't lift a finger to stop the judgment to come. I wouldn't say a thing.
