It was pointedly enunciated by God Incarnate primarily to His personally chosen disciples (but through them also eternally to the whole world of the First Adam's descendants) in an excerpt from His "Sermon on the Mount" (Matthew, 6:30-34, AV translation, His greatest imperative command highlighted and personally notated by myself):
30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33ButAnd so it ought to be imprinted upon our slumbering or wakeful "consciousness," whether "lower" or "higher," to have one's Christian mind and heart and will focused on pleasing our Creator and Master, and thus to continually receive all His gracious benefits.at all times constantly beseeking ye first the kingdom(kingship) of God, and his righteousness;and all these things shall be added unto you.
34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
“And so it ought to be imprinted upon our slumbering or wakeful “consciousness,” whether “lower” or “higher,” to have one’s Christian mind and heart and will focused on pleasing our Creator and Master, and thus to continually receive all His gracious benefits.”
Totally agree. Also ....
John 14:12
“12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. “
