I detest this woman but see this as government overreach. She did commit perjury on her loan application and pension documents to get cash for the purchase BUT in the end it was her money and can be resolved with restitution, some jail time and fines. If she is unable to pay all of that, then they should sell of the condo to pay it.
Mosby, in her own mind, is a legal giant in the annals of the American jurisprudence system. Courageous, learned, incorruptible...right up there with Oliver Wendell Holmes whom she affectionately calls Oliver 3X

Mosby is a terrible person who shouldn’tbe allowed to practice law, but this isn’t a crime anyone should face jail over. Trying to make fibbing on some paperwork sound like it’s really worthy of a threat of 30 years in jail just makes everyone look stupid.
