Great story but Dickson is due east of Ardmore Oklahoma. No one in that area would describe Dickson as located “just north of Marietta”. I graduated high school in Armdmore.
I also laughed at that description. Dickson is “just north” of Marietta, about 20 miles and then 9 miles east.

More accurately: Dickson is “just north” of Marietta, about 20 miles and then 9 miles east of Ardmore.
I’m sure you know this but Ardmore is far larger than Marietta. Ardmore population is about 10 times that of Marietta.
