@RepThomasMassie
I spoke with @GlennBeck about @SpeakerJohnson ’s three recent betrayals of Republicans and why the motion to vacate will be called next week.
Watch that roll call! Hakeem Jeffries and the entire Democrat leadership have vowed to save Johnson because he gives them what they want.

Massie: "Speaker Johnson has given us 3 big betrayals ... "
“We’re giving him the weekend to resign”.
“He’s a lame duck speaker”.
“Let’s get him out before he carries out more mischief”
GO THOMAS!!
“We’re calling his bluff and we’re having this vote”.
Rigorous written questionnaires need to be given to people who want to lead Congress and executive agencies.
Massie addresses this. He says Johnson is just inexperienced and a “junior” member.
The “big spenders” he said rejected the more senior Jim Jordan several times
I listened to Johnson on Levin’s show last week. He gave a cogent and well thought out reasoning for SELLING OUT THE GOP.
It sounded fine while you were listening to it, until I realized he was arguing for giving up your principles.
It sounded fine while you were listening to it, until I realized he was arguing for giving up your principles.
IN ADDITION (I forgot this main point) I understand that 'first you have to win' argument, but you can win every time if you just vote with your enemy.
Shows how ineffectual Massive and Greene are when they need Dems as allies in order to have a chance at ousting Johnson given the fact that the great majority of House Republicans support keeping Johnson as Speaker.
You dont know “the vast majority” support him. We’ll see next week.
“...Democrat leadership have vowed to save Johnson because he gives them what they want.”

Democrats also promised to save McCarthy. See how that worked out.
We’ll end up with Speaker Jeffries, if these imbeciles do this at this time.
“the great majority of House Republicans support keeping Johnson as Speaker”
Exactly why this country is a mess. Massie even used the word ‘uniparty’ defining the GOPe and Johnson - and the folks that don’t want Johnson thrown out are missing the big picture. Johnson and Jeffries are already co-speakers so to speak.
Chances are decent that the house goes to the rats this fall anyway after only one term in power, historic in in the last 65+ years and only happened twice in America’s history. When you can’t tell the difference between a rat and a fake republican you have lost the seat. Last year here in MI we lost both the state house and the state senate for the first time in decades, what does that tell you - it says that folks in majority numbers don’t support RINOs, I’m one of them.
They aren’t using Dems as allies, Johnson is.
The Republican Party is run by elite Rinos who when they get to DC, form the Uni Party with dems.
The question begs, when will the voting public have enough?
I left the GOP years ago to be an Independent. That political choice is vindicated now almost on a weekly basis.
We are trillions in debt. Our grandchildren will drown in inflation thanks to the votes of people supposedly elected to represent our best interests. We are sending a country money to secure their border, but not ours, just to fight a war they cannot win. People go to Congress, make it a cash cow (those who don’t make it a career) and come out worth millions. And the GOP leadership ignores lawfare used against its most popular politician while bending over backwards to give the dems what they want.
When is enough, enough?
“They aren’t using Dems as allies, Johnson is.”
The only way Massie and Greene can remove Johnson is if they ally with the Democrats in ousting him. Is that not true? Is it not also true that the great majority of House Republicans support keeping Johnson as Speaker?
“You dont know “the vast majority” support him. We’ll see next week.”
Massie and Greene wouldn’t need the help of the House Democrats if the vast majority of House Republicans didn’t support Johnson.
Dems will always vote no for the Republican nominee, just the same as Republicans voting no for a Democrat nominee.
The real vote that counts, or should, is the number of Republicans that vote no. And it only takes a handful.
The REAL STORY is if some of those anticipated Democrat no votes are instead yes votes for Johnson. If that happens, he might be the first, definitely in recent years, speaker voted into the post via bipartisan vote. He will be speak thanks to Democrats. He's their tool, owing them his loyalty. Nice job Johnson.
What proof do you have of that? Dems and Jeffries have stated they will help Johnson.
Yes, it should have been Jim Jordan but a few of the lobbyist-owned Republicans would not have a solid conservative like Jordan as Speaker.
