Is there any basis to find that Willis chose to pursue the case to generate income for Wade, which he would then use to take her on luxury trips?

That could be regarded as the first issue and since that and more is exactly what happened it is worth trying.

The second separate issue, if the phone records are credible, could be whether she lied to the judge regarding the first issue.

She certainly isn't "a regular witness", the relationship she lied about was at the core "of the matter at hand", and she is well-versed in both the law and the particulars of a court proceeding.

In post-modern America people, even those in powerful positions fear the Left much more than they fear God ... and for good reason.
