BTW, money does talk and BS walks. Those with the most money do tend to have the most influence, but then, that's the way it's been throughout history everywhere. So, what's different this time?The difference this time is that our Free Republic was supposed to be "of the people, by the people and for the people" so that the push and pull of influence was minimized.

Well, there you go. The elites turn out to be the people, and the elite families thing turns out to be a myth. Still, people with money do tend to have more influence on society and counties. Reduce their influence, and the country and people suffer the consequences. Tell that to democrats and progressives and liberals and communists.
