The first wave was in 2020. The second wave began in the winter of 2020. This was all before the rollout of the vaccine.

The CDC lies. You are among the few who still cites the CDC as authoritative.
Others, including Stoddard, have demonstrated that true excess deaths began in 2021. The CDC fanned the flames of Covid numbers in 2020 with bizarre assertions that any death within 60 days of a Covid test (which is not a valid test for the virus) would be counted as Covid death. The CDC even admitted that the disease was not as lethal as claimed.

The American medical regime pressured doctors and coroners to list cause of death as Covid when it was heart attack and/or cancer and other diseases which killed them, according to doctors. So instead of 'died of X chronic disease', the death was recorded as 'Died From Covid'. Large financial incentives were offered to hospitals to identify patients as Covid - and the regime allowed doctors to 'presume' Covid without testing. There are ways that the CDC walked back or admitted to this, but they continue to distort the truth.
