States, cities and towns across the United States conduct ceremonies and distribute Silver Star Service Banners to honor the sacrifice of those who have given so much for our freedom.
We are going through turbulent times in this country but it is our sincere hope and prayer that all can agree that it is our duty and honor to recognize these veterans.
This May 1st let’s remember and rededicate ourselves to remembering and honoring our service members and veterans and let’s keep alive our pride in God and Country.
Those who have served did not fight for an ideology contrary to the traditions of this Nation. They served and sacrificed for a Constitutional Republic which represents the will of the people.
Let’s remember on May 1st that freedom is something that must be fought for and that can be easily lost. Constant diligence on the part of every American is required.
To let slip away, little by little, the very things that men and women have shed blood and even died for would be a stain on their memory.
And always remember that you can vote yourselves into fascism and communism but strong men have to fight their way out of it.
It may be time to reject the things we cannot change and change the things we can no longer accept.
May God our Father and His Son Jesus Christ bless this Nation.
