In 2005, Sandy Berger who was a national security advisor under Bill Clinton, was fined and sentenced to two years of probation, plus community service, for the unauthorized removal of classified material from the National Archives.
Here is the precedent. Every President has done this and no one brought charges. Except for Trump.
Berger was not the President. Nor was
Biden when he removed large troves of classified material to his personal stash in sundry unsecured places.
