KEWL !!! Too bad they don't make Tanks anymore. I wish I still had My old 1968 Plymouth Fury III 4 Door. Only paid $50.00 for it. (This was the same color in the pic from HMN.)

We named it the "Cosmic Banana".

It was the first Party Ride We had in High School. It had 4 wheel Drum Brakes, that was the only drawback. I'll have to type up the story of the endless Brake System rebuild and the emergency stop by rubbing the left front corner into the concrete wall of Interstate 10 going to get parts to finish fixing the Brakes.

I really liked those massive “Land Yachts”, in the 60s.

I had that same car in brown. My mom drove it from the day it came off the show room floor until she gave it to me in 1975. I drove it till it got trashed when I was rear-ended, totaling the car.

I loved that thing.

A friend had a 1965 Impala 4 door. What a tank.

The body protruded out, one could climb halfway out the window and sit on that ledge.

If one had to throw crab apples from a moving vehicle, this was a excellent platform from which to do so.
