Yup, the clientelle is definitely an issue.
Last time we went to a buffet, some woman brought her dog in there. The owner gave her the fish-eye, but said nothing. My wife and I debated whether to complain, but ended up keeping quiet. 10 minutes later, her dog goes poop on the floor and another customer steps in it.
We gave the owner grief on the way out. Never went back.
I'm sure you can understand what would happen if the staff tried to stop them.
