>>>>The US, arguably, owes its existence to a Prussian officer, Baron von Steuben, a veteran of the Seven Years War, at one time an ADC to Frederick the Great, and hired by Benjamin Franklin. He was Chief of Staff to George Washington for the whole war.

He was not in Prussian service on account of a scandal of some sort, remained unmarried and childless, and there are some good circumstantial grounds to suspect him of homosexuality.<<<<

More BS from The Superior Filipino...

In 1778, General Washington himself wrote the report and approved a sentence of exile from the Army for a homosexual Lieutenant who Washington ordered drummed out of Valley Forge.

Throughout my lifetime I’ve known many men and women who are single and heterosexual.

I asked the mods' to remove my reply 44. Fixed that reply:

CORRECTION:

After Steuben had served with distinction in, and was honorably discharged from, the Prussian Army . . .

"he was made Court Chamberlain for the Prince of Hohenzollern-Hechingen, a German Principality. In 1769 he was formally knighted. Soon after, he was awarded the royal title of Baron [by the prince of nearby Baden] ..."

he may have been discharged from the [Hohenzollern-Hechingen] Principality’s service due to "unsavory conduct" [a never-proven, anonymously reported rumor] early in 1777

Practice at the time was not to care, much, as long as there wasnt a scandal. Sins were in the commission, not in nature.

One could be a sinner as long as no one was bothered.

Steuben was noted for his group of young “proteges”.

There were two scandals. One led to his leaving Prussian service, the other to his leaving the service of Hohenzollern-Hechingen (there were lots of German principalities).

In re the Prussian issue, this is from Steubens own memoir. “An inconsiderate step and an implacable personal enemy”.

You mean some hidden homosexuals slipped through the drafting of 10 million males?

...there is a big difference between LGBT activist and log cabin republicans...

Yeah, No. FTA..

hosted by the Log Cabin Republicans — a pro-LGBT group.

Log Cabin Repubs - just like RINO's - do far more harm than good to conservatism. They are wolves in sheep's clothing.

They would rather turn voters away and then claim “voter fraud” when they lose.

I doubt people like Ric Grenell are in favor of the Trans movement and drag queen story hours just because he is gay. He has been enormously helpful to our side and we should alienate good people.

It’s about money. Biden has a 200 million dollar plus warchest. Trump has hardly any money. He can raise a bunch of money.

“Did Jesus teach us to be judgmental?”

He did. Ninety percent of the Bible is a text book on how to be judgemental. “Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.” Romans 12:9

You are judgemental every day of the week, as every human being is.

“if it gets the pansies to vote for Trump then good.”

When, oh WHEN, are we going to realize that the number of votes Trump truly receives matter one iota? 95% of voters could vote for Trump, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be inaugurated in January 2025.
