Not good.
This is what they get with a $900+ billion budget.

Good, don’t need a stupid Gaza pier anyway

Get ready for an influx of Palestinians from gaza making their way to USA complements of our corrupt government!!
To: Reverend Wright
That’s OK, the Gazan “Palestinians” were frolicking on the beach in droves today, so apparently it can wait. None of them looked like they were in any danger of starving.

Sounds like longstanding maintenance issues.
This was a problem back in the day of the Carter military and underfunding.
But this military is not underfunded...
It’s DEI, wokeness, elite incompetence, political promotions...
Every Western military is a shambles. That UK carrier broke a driveshaft even before it got out of port.

No surprise. The port building idea was hatched by the same guy that left $81 billion worth of military supplies for the terrorists to use.

Our Arleigh-Burkes and carriers do fine. But you can’t expect to take a logistics ship out of layup and just go charging out to sea with it. Just taking a CAR not used for several years and right off taking a long trip with it is a lousy idea, even if well stored.

You would have thought that the Gazans would have built a massive sea port on the Mediterranean. However their rigid mentality would not guarantee that no dangerous materials (guns, ballistic missiles, mortars, etc) would not go through the port.
