Sometimes when I can see my wife getting upset ( not at me but at something in her life ) I ask her to hit me as hard as she can. I just stand there after she hits me, totally unaffected. I do that as a stress release for her. It seems to make her feel better. Really, her punches are like a child hitting me. A very young child.
Am I the only one that does this?
When I was 12 my Mom was enraged at something I had done and resorted to hitting me, slapping , kicking etc. I just stood there taking it until she wore herself out. I was not hurt or injured in any way. After that it was always “wait till your father gets home!”
