gypsy is not an ethnic slur. It’s the name of an ethnic group that makes its living by robbing and swindling people who are not in the group.
A few days ago I met my first gypsy. He called himself Romani and tried to con me out of money, so I decided he was a gypsy, and used that word in an FR post. Now I find that I'm RAAACIST for using the word. Imagine my concern!
