The complaint here seems to be twofold: (1) $25 for 40 McNuggets and 2 large fries; (2) the lack of an included beverage.
Asa McD customer, I see a couple flaws in the logic here...
(1) The 10 piece McNugget order has long run $4.99, so at that rate 40 McNuggets would be $19.96. Two large fries for $5.04? Not terrible. This isn’t a great “deal,” but it’s not out of line as per McDonald’s regular pricing.
(2) You want a soda too? Unless you’re Chris Christie, 40 McNuggets and 2 large fries isn’t an individual “meal.” This is a “family pack” for like 6 people. Throwing in 1 soda for a half-dozen people to share would be silly.
If they use the McDonald’s rewards app, it’s going to be a lot cheaper. I use it all the time and get free nuggets or cheeseburgers/McChicken sandwiches. Free beverage’s too.
“This is a “family pack” for like 6 people.”
Sad truth is this is probably a baby momma lamenting the fact that it now costs her $25 to feed her various progeny.
Once chaperoned a 3rd grade field trip to NYC. Kids were asked to pack a completely disposable lunch, no glass, etc.
One feral kid boarded the bus at 630 am carrying a McD’s cheeseburger happy meal. Yes. His parent(s?) bought it for him the previous day.
I wouldn’t care except we wind up paying the medical bills of these slobs.
