Who Will Stand for Palestinian Christians?

Both Muslim and Israeli hostility are squeezing out the Christian community in Christ’s own homeland.

--- "...squeezing out the Christian community in Christ's own homeland."

Some info with sources. This "Evangelical Luthern" is spun out of Anabaptist Mennonite cloth, polished by the Brits as they lose their own Church of England. He is not representative of "the Christian community" of Bethlehem, many of whom have fled militant Islam.

Bethlehem Bible College is Accredited by:
Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
ATA, Asia Theological Association.
MENATE, Middle East and North Africa Association of Theological Education.

"After presenting his idea to a group of local Arab pastors, there was unanimous agreement that such a school was necessary. A pastor from Jerusalem gave Bishara the first offering towards his dream: $20. The group formed a board with leaders from different backgrounds, including Orthodox, Catholic, Lutheran, Anglican, and Evangelical. Hope Christian School made its campus available and Bethlehem Bible College began evening classes with 9 students."

It hasn't grown much in the ensuing years, excepting with foreign governments' assistance.

"At the heart of the Bethlehem Institute of Peace and Justice is the Certificate Program in Peacemaking and Justice in the Palestinian Context. "

One recalls that Tariq Assiz who worked for Saddam Hussein as Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, was an Arab Christian. He was both a socialist member of the Ba'ath Party and of the Chaldean Catholic Church. Not all Christians are the same, nor do they all hold actually similar beliefs, as one watches the rift between the Evangelical Lutherans and schismatic Lutherans who reject the LGBT+ stance of the ELCA.

This particular "Evangelical Lutheran" fellow as dean of the little school asserts the "Abrahamic" source of Judaism, Christianity AND Islam. The notion than Islam is in any manner a sister religion to Judaism and Christianity is a "new age" Obama-ism, as was spouted by John Kerry and his ilk. Geopolitics as religion still ends up be geopolitics. And we mix in the fact that our own FBI asserts that traditional Catholics, as an example, as like homegrown terrorists. Carlson's team did not do their homework.

Israeli Arabs have full rights and get affirmative action. They make up a disproprtionate number of doctors and lawyers and own much of the private land in Israel.
The problem in the Arab-occupied territories is that they are controlled by the PLO and Hamas. Israel treats all "Palestinians" the same and does not reward Hamas and other terrorist groups with safety for using building near Churches or occupying them.
As for the study, it's effectively a study of hostages, many of whom have have gone through a generational Stockholm syndrome to survive. The only way that Christians remain in Arab occupied territories is play to Arab nationalist sentiment, be good Dhimmi and serve a propoganda role for their Muslim masters. Any Christian telling the truth will be seen as an Israeli agent and killed.
