Pretty high price. My brother died of an OD at 16. My parents died from their own addictions. I was the odd one who never tried drugs.

so glad you escaped ... you must have been a pretty smart cookie at a young age to observe the human wreckage about you and say to yourself, “You know, i really don’t want to end up like that.” ...
I, too, come from a mixed-up/painful past, & I 'get it'.
