Wonderful. Did you travel somewhere to watch? Or did the totality path go right over you?
I drove to Oregon to watch the 2017 eclipse and it was an amazing event. It was even more cool for me because I found my way to a remote hilltop on the John Day River in Central Oregon and there were about 30 other people from all over the States and Europe that somehow managed to find their way to the same spot. It wasn’t mentioned anywhere as a great viewing spot, but it was the best ever!
All those years I had time to travel but no money, or had the money but no time. This one was just a three hour drive to Marion, Ohio.
Looked just like the pictures, but for real. Thin stratus washed out a lot of detail, but we both saw an orange squiggle with naked eyes during totality that must have been one heckuva prominence. Waiting for the pros the confirm or deny.
