This is Russia's idea of a dam?

The city of Orsk has over 200,000 residents, yet apparenrly only a little over a hundred showed up requesting aid from Putin? That’s a news story? It would be akin to a small crowd clamoring for aid from Washington D.C. after a major storm. If anything, their complaints are seemingly directed more towards their mayor and their local governor (as is proper).

Also, the dam in question appears to be an earthen dam, and we have over 70,000 in the United States alone. When they work, they’re just fine. But sometimes they fail, as happened in Orsk.

(For the record, America apparently suffers an average of 10 dam failures a year, but don’t let that get in the way of your bizarre Putin fixation.)
