Having been in aviation maintenance for the US Navy for 31 years I saw my share of “field repairs” come in from squadrons in far away lands that had limited resources.
Patching sheet metal aircraft battle damage with fiberglass and flattened out tin or aluminum cans was not all that uncommon during desert storm/shield.

All seriousness aside, I looked up the price on aviation speed tape (commonly misidentified as duct tape).. Anywhere from $44 to $73 per roll. It had better work great!
