Mrs. BBB333 & I were in Casper, WY to witness it. Lot’s of fun!

There were 20+ folks from Japan that began setting up all sorts of gear hours before the the eclipse...

I do not recall the National Guard being called up nor the hysterics being attributed to this eclipse.

On August 11th, 1999 there was a total solar eclipse that tracked across Europe. I witnessed it in Landstuhl, Germany and folks were sensible, however the night before we were in France having dinner and there was a parade of folks dressed up oddly holding signs (translated): ‘The world will end tomorrow’ so I think they were having fun with the eclipse...
